Step 1: Search SAM.gov for ALL Solicitations in FY2023 (10/1/2022 – 9/30/2023)

This search will show you all posted as solicitations (aka Bid Requests) on SAM.gov within a specific timeframe.

1) Go to www.SAM.gov
2) Select Contract Opportunities
3) Select "Advanced Search"
4) Select Custom Date
5) Insert Your Date Selection (this example will show FY 2023)
6) Select BOTH Solicitation AND Combined Synopsis/Solicitation
7) Select Active AND Inactive

Step 2: Search FPDS.gov for contracts signed in FY 2023 (10/1/2022 - 9/30/2023)

1) Go to www.FPDS.gov

2) Copy this: SIGNED_DATE:[2022/10/01,2023/09/30]

3) Put it in the search bar

Yes, this shows you that 6,691,510 contracts  were signed in FY 2023
